Don Rothman has lived his entire adult life in the Hudson Valley of New York. As a result, his paintings reveal a deep reverence for the natural beauty of the Hudson River and its glorious valley.
Don has also been working on a portfolio featuring scenes primarily from Naples, Florida and now spends part of his year in Southwest Florida. The contrasting elements between Florida's landscapes and natural palette and those of New York provide a stimulating opportunity to reflect those differences in oil paint.
Don has exhibited and sold his paintings at art shows and auctions throughout New York and Florida. Don also frequently exhibits his paintings at the Barrett Art Center in Poughkeepsie.
